²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men. ³⁰ The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew, hanging him on a tree. ³¹ Him did God exalt ^[a]with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.
